Research use policy
Research use policy
Everything Healix Labs supplies is an analytical reference standard intended for laboratory research. No item in the catalogue is a drug, dietary supplement, cosmetic, or therapeutic article; none is offered for any medical purpose; and none may be administered to a human or an animal. This page sets out how that scope is framed and records the attestation a purchaser makes at every checkout.

What is supplied
Healix Labs is a specialized chemical supplier of lyophilized peptide reference standards. Each compound is provided as a chemical reagent for in vitro analytical work — HPLC method development, mass-spectrometry calibration, binding assays, antibody validation, and comparable laboratory tasks. No item in the catalogue is offered as a drug product, a dietary supplement, a cosmetic, or a therapeutic article.
What is not supplied
Healix Labs is neither a 503A nor a 503B compounding pharmacy. It does not compound, prescribe, dispense, or fulfil therapeutic orders, and it supplies no dosing figures, no reconstitution protocols for human administration, no clinical recommendations, and nothing that would enable use in or on a human or animal subject.
Regulatory position
Healix Labs supplies analytical reference standards for laboratory research. It does not manufacture, market, or sell drug products, dietary supplements, cosmetics, or therapeutic articles, and makes no claim that any material diagnoses, treats, cures, or prevents disease. No Healix Labs product is an FDA-approved drug, dietary supplement, or medical device, and none is offered for any medical purpose. The research-use designation carried on every vial label and shipping document is a binding limitation on how the material may be used, not marketing language.
Purchaser responsibilities
Depending on the material and the jurisdiction, its sale, possession, transport, and use may be subject to federal, state, and local law. The purchaser bears sole responsibility for meeting those regulations, for any institutional policies that apply, for IRB or IACUC requirements where relevant, and for maintaining chain-of-custody records within their own facility.
Refusal of supply
Healix Labs may decline, hold, or cancel any order where there is reasonable indication of use beyond research scope, where the attestation cannot be made in good faith, or where fulfilment would conflict with applicable law. Any order that is declined is refunded in full.
Attestation
Attestation
The following affirmations are confirmed at checkout. Each attestation is logged with the order record and bound to the lot identifier of every vial in the shipment, so the declaration travels with the material it covers.
- I am 21 years of age or older.
- I am a qualified researcher, purchasing on behalf of myself, an academic institution, a contract research organization, or a commercial laboratory.
- I will use the material solely for in vitro analytical research and laboratory work.
- I will not introduce the material into any human or animal subject, and I will not allow anyone working under my direction or supervision to do so.
- I will store and dispose of the material in line with the federal, state, and local regulations and the institutional policies that apply to my work.
- I understand that Healix Labs makes no representation as to suitability for any human or veterinary application, and I accept full responsibility for compliance with every law governing my purchase and use.
Scope
Questions about scope
If you are unsure whether a planned application sits within research-use scope, or you are an institution that needs the attestation wording adapted for internal procurement, write to [email protected] before placing an order. Adjusted attestation language is available to institutional buyers on a case-by-case basis.
